Dr. Jason Kessler is an Interventional Pain Medicine physician specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions. He provides comprehensive, patient-centered care with a focus on restoring function and improving quality of life.
Dr. Kessler earned his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Biomedical Research from the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating magna cum laude. He received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) at New York University, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. He then pursued fellowship training in Pain Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco.
His clinical interests include chronic pain management, sports and musculoskeletal medicine, regenerative medicine, electromyography (EMG), peripheral nerve stimulation, and image-guided interventional procedures using both fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
In his spare time, Dr. Kessler enjoys weightlifting, golfing, traveling and has acted in two movies, playing small roles as bodyguards. He primarily sees patients at the San Jose office.
