Dr. Atkin is a Board Certified Orthopedist who completed an additional two-year fellowship in knee and shoulder surgery. His areas of specialization include arthroscopy, sports medicine, and joint replacement. Dr. Atkin served as the Northern California neutral physician for the National Football League for 5 years. Dr. Atkin, an avid medical volunteer, is a current Director of Operation Rainbow. He has led volunteer teams to the Philippines, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Ecuador and the Caribbean for over 15 years. Dr. Atkin speaks fluent Spanish.
